Committed to professionalism, partnership, and community, the Sheriff’s Office enforces laws, protects life and property of Caldwell County residents and provides a safe, secure, and humane confinement of inmates.

The law enforcement division provides patrol and criminal investigations and operates out of Lockhart. Special operations include crime prevention, dispatch, reserves, color guard, and animal control. The jail population is housed in the Caldwell County Jail, in Lockhart.
